Data Deletion Request

At Sip History, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. This page allows you to request the deletion of your personal information from our systems.

Important: Once your data is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Please ensure you have saved any information you may need before submitting a deletion request.

What Data Will Be Deleted?

When you request data deletion, we will remove:

Your account information (name, email, phone number)
Booking history and preferences
Marketing communication preferences
Photos and content you've shared with us
Any other personal information associated with your account

Data We May Retain

For legal and business purposes, we may retain certain information even after deletion:

Transaction records: Required for accounting and tax purposes (typically 7 years)
Legal compliance: Data required by law or for legal claims
Fraud prevention: Information necessary to protect against fraudulent activity
Aggregated data: Anonymized data used for analytics (cannot identify you)

Processing Time

We will process your data deletion request within:

Standard requests: 30 days
Complex requests: Up to 90 days (we will notify you if extension is needed)

You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted.

Send an email to info@siphistory.co with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:

Your full name
Email address associated with your account
Any additional information to help us identify your account

Facebook Data Deletion

If you've connected your Facebook account to Sip History and want to delete data associated with that connection:

Go to your Facebook Settings
Navigate to Apps and Websites
Find Sip History in your list of apps
Click "Remove" to revoke access
Submit a deletion request using this page to remove all associated data

Instagram Data Deletion

If we've displayed your Instagram content on our website and you'd like it removed:

Provide the specific post or content URL
We will remove the content within 7 business days

Verification Process

To protect your privacy and security, we may need to verify your identity before processing your deletion request. We may ask for:

Verification code sent to your email
Confirmation of previous account activity
